What they usually end up demonstrating is that the majority of the features they believe FL Studio is missing, it actually has, they just don't know how to access or use them. If you've ever watched any of those *(for example) "*Ableton User's First Time Using FL Studio" videos on YouTube, You'll see quite a lot of those stereotypes such users of other DAWs have about FL Studio. In reality, it's often those producers own lack of experience of 'how to use' the DAW itself that they expose. In other words, the stereotype is often used disparagingly with an intention to denigrate users of FL Studio along with similar implications that the DAW itself is childish or a 'toy'. Many times, users of other DAWs will insinuate that FL Studio (or as they'll often term it: 'Fruity Loops',) is 'only good for' certain genres ~ which many 'elitist' producers regard as 'simplistic' ~ or not requiring much musical theory, knowledge or experience to create. ![]() There's a lot of truth in this statement.
